Cleanup & Shine LLC (“Cleanup & Shine”)
Effective date: November 3, 2026
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Welcome to Cleanup & Shine. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how our website works and how our residential cleaning services are booked, provided and paid for. In these Terms, “Cleanup & Shine,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Cleanup & Shine LLC. “You” means the customer or website visitor.
By using cleanupandshine.us, sending a job request, or confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice (https://cleanupandshine.us/privacy). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book a service.

1. Using our website
- You may use our website to learn about our services, contact us and request a quote or booking.
- Please give accurate information. Do not misuse the website: don’t try to hack it, overload it, send spam or submit someone else’s information without their permission.
- The website content, including text, logo, photos and design, belongs to Cleanup & Shine or is used with permission. Please do not copy it for commercial use without our written permission.
- We try to keep the website accurate and available, but it may sometimes have errors or be unavailable. Information on the website, including offers and descriptions of services, may change. Your confirmed booking controls.
- If our website links to other sites, those links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
2. Our services
We provide residential cleaning in the Houston area, including regular cleaning (weekly, biweekly or monthly), deep cleaning, and move-in / move-out cleaning. Travel outside our normal service area may be priced case by case. Our usual hours are weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with exceptions when the office confirms them. You do not need to be home for the first visit.
3. Requests and bookings
- You can request service through our online job request form (https://request.cleanupandshine.us), by phone or text at (346) 537-3739, or by email at info@cleanupandshine.us.
- A request is not a booking. A booking is confirmed only when our office and you agree on the date, time, service type, scope and price.
- New bookings need at least 24 hours’ notice. Bookings with shorter notice need office approval and depend on availability.
- Please give us accurate information about your home, access, pets, parking and anything that needs special care, so our team can plan the visit.
- No deposit is required unless we agree to one separately in writing.
4. Scope, add-ons and extra charges
- The scope of each visit is what is confirmed in your booking. Tasks not included in your confirmed booking are not part of the visit unless our office agrees in advance.
- Add-ons, such as inside appliances, extra rooms, windows, laundry, dishes, organizing or linen changes, are priced by the office.
- Extra charges may apply for an unusually dirty home or excessive clutter. That means construction-like conditions, or a room our team cannot walk into.
- You approve every add-on or extra charge before the work is done. Our team members cannot add work, change prices or approve credits on site.
5. Prices and payment
- Price: Pricing is per visit, as quoted by our office and shown in your confirmed booking.
- When you pay: Payment is processed on the day each visit is completed.
- Payment methods: The payment methods available for your service will be confirmed in your booking. If you choose to pay by card, payments are processed by our payment processor (such as Stripe), and you may be asked to agree to the processor’s terms. Please pay only through a method our office confirms, and never pay a team member personally.
- Recurring-service discounts, if any, are set by the office and shown in your confirmed booking.
- Late payment: Late payments may be subject to a late fee, but only if the fee is disclosed to you in advance in your booking or service agreement, and only as permitted by law.
- Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will contact you and may retry the charge or ask for another payment method.
6. Card on file and autopay
Card on file and automatic payments (autopay) are not available yet. If we offer them in the future and you choose to enroll, your card will be saved and charged by our payment processor (such as Stripe), and you will be asked for a separate authorization before any automatic charge. That authorization will explain:
- what we will charge, such as the confirmed price for each visit plus any add-ons or extra charges you approved in advance;
- when we will charge, such as on the day each visit is completed, repeating for each scheduled recurring visit until you cancel;
- how you will get receipts; and
- how to cancel autopay, which will include, at a minimum, emailing info@cleanupandshine.us or calling or texting (346) 537-3739.
Cancelling autopay does not change payment owed for visits already completed. Card details are stored by the payment processor; we do not store your full card number. If the separate authorization differs from this summary, the authorization controls.
7. Rescheduling and cancellation
- To reschedule or cancel, please contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment. This applies to all jobs.
- We don’t charge a cancellation fee. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, you may be asked to pay only the costs we actually incurred because of the late change. We will explain any such costs.
- If we need to reschedule because of severe weather, staff illness or another disruption, we will contact you to arrange the best available option.
8. Access, keys and codes
- Please provide access at the agreed time, including keys, lockbox codes, gate codes and alarm instructions where needed.
- Our online request form does not ask for codes. When a booking is confirmed, we ask for any codes we need by phone or text.
- Share keys and codes only through an official channel: phone / text (346) 537-3739, email info@cleanupandshine.us, or another channel our office confirms. Please do not put access codes in the request form, public comments or social media messages.
- We use keys and codes only for your assigned visits and store them securely. We do not copy or share them outside our approved process. We will tell you promptly if a key is lost or a code may have been exposed.
- Lost keys: Whoever lost the keys is responsible for replacement and rekeying costs. If our team loses your keys, Cleanup & Shine is responsible for those costs. If you or someone in your household loses them, you are.
- Lockouts: If our team arrives at the agreed time and cannot get in, there is no lockout fee. You may owe only the costs we actually incurred for that visit, and we will contact you to reschedule.
9. Home readiness and safety
- Please make sure your home is ready and safe for the agreed work.
Conditions that must be addressed first include:
- heavy clutter;
- mold or pests;
- bodily fluids;
- hazardous materials or other hazards;
- unsafe or unsecured pets.
- If one of these conditions is present, we will ask you to correct it within a reasonable time. If it is not corrected, the visit may be treated as not ready, our team may stop or decline the work, and you may owe the costs we actually incurred.
- Our team does not clean mold, hazardous materials, bodily fluids or other specialized hazards unless our office has approved a process for it.
10. Our right to refuse or stop service
Safety comes first. We may refuse or stop service because of:
- harassment or threats;
- weapons, drugs or illegal activity;
- infestations or hazardous materials;
- other unsafe conditions.
Our team may leave right away and contact the authorities when necessary. If a visit has already started, it may be charged in full where the law allows.
11. Pets
- Please tell us about pets before your visit.
- Aggressive pets, and pets that could escape, must be secured or removed before service. Loose pets are fine only when that is safe for everyone.
- You remain responsible for your pets at all times. If an unsafe animal is present, the visit may be treated as not ready under section 9.
- We are not responsible for a pet leaving the home if the access or pet instructions you gave us were not accurate or complete.
12. Supplies, allergies and your belongings
- Unless otherwise agreed, we bring our own cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Please tell us in advance about products that should not be used in your home, and about allergies or fragrance sensitivities. Most requests can be accommodated when we know ahead of time.
- We use products you provide only when our team decides they are safe for the surface and the task.
- Please put away cash, jewelry, medications, valuables and fragile items, or tell us about anything that needs special care.
- Delicate or specialty surfaces: Please point out delicate or specialty surfaces (for example natural stone, antiques, unsealed wood, or special finishes) and any care instructions before the visit. We may decline to clean a surface we cannot clean safely.
- Areas that are unsafe to enter, and items that cannot be moved safely, may be left uncleaned and noted.
13. Damage and our responsibility
- We take reasonable care in your home.
- Reporting damage: Please report any damage within 24 hours of the visit by phone / text (346) 537-3739 or email info@cleanupandshine.us. Reports up to 48 hours after the visit may be accepted with an exception approved by our office.
- Review: We review every report and may ask to inspect the damaged item or area. Where we are responsible, we may choose to repair the item or reimburse you. Team members cannot admit fault or promise payment on site.
- Limit: Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and as set out in your service agreement.
- Not covered: We are not responsible for:
- damage that was already there before the visit;
- normal wear and tear;
- items that were not secured, or valuables and fragile items that were not disclosed;
- delicate or specialty surfaces you did not point out before the visit, or that we declined to clean.
- Your legal rights: Nothing in these Terms limits or waives any right you have that cannot be limited or waived under applicable law, including the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act. Nothing in these Terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.
14. Satisfaction and concerns
Your concerns are always welcome, and you can contact us anytime. If you are not satisfied with part of a cleaning, please tell us within 48 hours of the visit so we can review it while the details are fresh. Where a concern is confirmed, we will re-clean the affected areas or offer another remedy agreed with you.
15. Prepaid visits, refunds and ending service
- Unused prepaid visits are refundable after our office reviews them and as required by law. Refunds and credits are decided by our office.
- You or we may end service at any time. For recurring service, we ask for 24 hours’ notice when possible. Ending service does not change payment owed for visits already completed.
16. Text messages
If you give your consent, Cleanup & Shine may send text messages to the mobile number you provide.
- Service texts: replies to your requests, booking confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, and payment or account messages.
- Marketing texts, only if you separately opt in: offers and news. Marketing consent is not a condition of buying any service.
- Frequency: Message frequency varies.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to stop texts. If you stop marketing texts, you stop all marketing texts from us. You may still receive service texts unless you opt out of those too.
- Help: Reply HELP, call (346) 537-3739 or email info@cleanupandshine.us.
- Delivery: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your phone number: Please tell us if you change or give up the mobile number you gave us.
- Privacy: We never share or sell your mobile number or text opt-in information with third parties for their marketing. See our Privacy Notice (https://cleanupandshine.us/privacy).
17. Email
We email you about your requests, bookings and payments. If you sign up for offers or news, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email.
18. Reviews, feedback and photos
- Reviews: We welcome honest reviews. We do not post fake reviews or hide negative ones. If we ever offer something in exchange for a review, we will say so, and the reward will not depend on the review being positive. By sending us a review or feedback, you allow us to use it to improve our service and to share it publicly with your first name or initials. We will not use your full name without your permission.
- Quality-check photos: Our team may take photos of the work for quality checks and records.
- Marketing photos: We use identifiable photos of you or your home in marketing only with your written permission. You can withdraw that permission in writing at any time, and we will stop future use.
19. Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use our website and book our services. If any part of the site is hard to use, please call or text (346) 537-3739 or email info@cleanupandshine.us. We will help you book and work to fix the issue.
20. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice (https://cleanupandshine.us/privacy) explains how we collect, use and protect your information.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The Terms in effect when you book apply to that booking. Recurring customers will get written notice at least 7 days before changes apply to them. You may end service instead of accepting the changes.
22. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
- If there is a problem, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
- Any lawsuit about our services will be brought in the courts of the Texas county where the service address is located, unless the law requires otherwise.
23. Other terms
- Entire agreement: These Terms, your confirmed booking and any service agreement are the entire agreement about our services. If they conflict, the service agreement and confirmed booking control for that visit. Changes must be agreed in writing with our office. A team member’s signature on a checklist does not change these Terms.
- Severability: If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver: If we don’t enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
