This Privacy Notice explains what information Cleanup & Shine collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. In this notice, “Cleanup & Shine,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Cleanup & Shine LLC. It applies to our website (cleanupandshine.us), our online job request form (request.cleanupandshine.us), our booking process, and our phone, text and email communications.

1. The short version

• We collect only what we need to quote, book, provide and get paid for cleaning services.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We never share your mobile number or text opt-in information with third parties for their marketing.
• If you pay by card, your card is handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
• We do not set cookies ourselves, and we do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools.
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing info@cleanupandshine.us.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: name, phone number, email address and preferred contact method.
• Service address and home details: address, home size and rooms, service type, and the priorities you share.
• Home access notes: how we get in (for example, someone will be home, a key with the front desk, or a lockbox), parking, and pet information. Our online request form does not ask for gate, alarm or lockbox codes. When a booking is confirmed, we ask for any codes we need by phone or text, and you can also share them through another official channel (see our Terms of Service (https://cleanupandshine.us/terms)). Please don’t post codes in public comments or social media messages.
• Job request form: the information you enter in our online job request form, including service details, access instructions (not codes), pets and parking, preferred dates, contact details, and any notes, plus a record of the choices you make on the form (see “Consent records” below).
• Consent records: when you submit our request form, we keep a record of whether you agreed to our Terms of Service and acknowledged this Privacy Notice, whether you agreed to be contacted about your request, and whether you opted in to marketing texts, with the date and time, the phone number it applies to, and the versions of the terms and wording you saw. If you opt out later, we record that too.
• Special requests: product preferences, allergies or fragrance sensitivities, delicate surfaces, and other care instructions.
• Messages and feedback: calls, texts, emails, complaints, reviews and satisfaction concerns.
• Payment information: if you choose to pay by card, your card details go directly to our payment processor. We receive limited information, such as the card brand, last four digits, expiration date and payment status. We do not store your full card number. For other payment methods, we keep a record of the payment.

Information created during service

• Job records: booking details, work checklists, quality checks and incident reports.
• Photos: quality-check photos of the work, and photos of damage or conditions when needed for a report. We use identifiable photos of you or your home in marketing only with your written permission.

Information collected automatically

• Technical information: When you use our website or request form, we and our service providers automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device details, to deliver the site, prevent spam and abuse, and keep it secure. Our hosting and security providers may keep this information in short-term logs.
• Bot protection: We use a bot-protection check from our hosting provider on our forms. It uses technical information such as your IP address and browser details to tell real people apart from automated spam.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• respond to requests and give quotes;
• schedule, confirm and provide cleaning services;
• access your home as you instruct, and keep your home, pets and our team safe;
• process payments, send receipts and handle billing questions;
• send service messages, such as confirmations, reminders and arrival updates;
• review complaints, damage reports and quality concerns;
• improve our services and website;
• send marketing texts or emails, only if you opt in; you can opt out anytime;
• protect our website and form from spam, bots and abuse;
• protect our rights, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

4. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run our business.

• Service providers that help us run our business, such as hosting, security and email providers, payment processors, and our accountants and other professional advisers. They may use your information only to provide their services to us. Their own privacy policies also apply to the information they handle.
• Our team: team members see only the job details they need for their assigned visits.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our customers, team or others.
• Business transfer: if our business is sold or reorganized, your information may transfer to the new owner under this notice.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own advertising.

Text messaging: We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text opt-in data is shared only with the providers that help us send messages.

5. Text messages and email

• Text messages: We send service texts to the number you provide. Marketing texts are sent only if you separately opt in, and consent is never a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Full texting terms are in our Terms of Service (https://cleanupandshine.us/terms).
• Email: We email you about your bookings and payments. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser.

• We do not set our own cookies on our website or request form, and we do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies or pixels.
• Security tools: our hosting provider’s security and bot-protection tools may use cookies or similar technologies to protect the site and forms from attacks and spam.
• If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this notice first and explain what they collect and how to opt out.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking security checks may prevent the request form from working; if so, call, text or email us instead.
• Do Not Track: Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Because we do not use tracking cookies, this has no effect on how we treat your information.

7. How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. These include:

• access limited to the people who need it for their work;
• approved company systems for customer records;
• secure storage of keys and access codes;
• encrypted (HTTPS) connections on our website and job request form;
• bot protection and spam and abuse controls on our forms;
• if you pay by card, a payment processor that handles card data under industry security standards.

No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you think your information or an access code has been exposed.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, and as required or permitted by law, for example for tax, accounting, insurance or legal reasons. This applies to all the places your information is kept, including request form records, technical logs, and copies of requests and messages in our email. We keep consent and opt-out records for as long as we may contact you, and afterwards for as long as needed to show we had your permission or honored your opt-out, as the law requires or allows. Keys are returned as agreed when service ends. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

9. Your choices and requests

You can:

• ask to see the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong;
• ask us to delete your information. We may need to keep some records, such as payment or incident records, where the law requires or allows it;
• opt out of marketing at any time. Reply STOP to texts, use the unsubscribe link in emails, or contact us. We keep a record of your opt-out so we don’t contact you again by mistake;
• withdraw photo permission in writing at any time, for future marketing use.

To make a request, email info@cleanupandshine.us with the subject “Privacy request,” or call or text (346) 537-3739. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within a reasonable time, and as required by law. We will not treat you differently for making a privacy request.

10. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults who arrange cleaning for their homes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. If there is a data breach

If a security breach involving your personal information occurs, we will notify you, and the Texas Attorney General where required, as required by Texas law (Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 521) and any other law that applies.

12. Where we operate

We are based in Texas and serve the Houston area. Our service providers may store and process information in the United States or in other countries where they or their partners operate. If you are visiting from outside Texas, including California, this notice describes our practices for you too.

13. Links to other sites

If our website links to other sites, their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

14. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time and will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If we make a significant change in how we use your information, we will give notice on this website or contact you directly.
